Battery recyclers

End-users are required under EU Regulation 2023/1542 to discard waste batteries separately from other waste streams, including from mixed municipal waste.

It is recommended that all low voltage batteries from GM vehicles be sent to GM approved recyclers or their partners.

Distributors need to comply with requirements laid down in Article 74 of EU Regulation 2023/1542 where applicable.
