Pursuant to Article 61 of Regulation EU 2023/1542, end users are entitled to the free return and collection of the low voltage waste battery by delivering them to GM’s approved recyclers and their partners without the obligation to purchase a new battery. The information provided on this webpage only covers low voltage (<60 volts DC) batteries and is intended for those defined as end-users and distributors under the EU Regulation (2023/1542).
